Two sixth-graders, Shamoon Sheikh and Rabia Mukaty volunteered to lead the weekly assembly on Tuesday, 17th April, 2012. They displayed the LP attributes ‘Risk-takers’ and ‘Communicators’ as they addressed the school community comprised of students, teachers and parents.

Grade 2-L and 2-T presented their understanding about how human actions are endangering animal life in our weekly assembly as part of their PYP unit of inquiry under the theme: Sharing the Planet. Two students presented their research on the endangered animal, while others in the same group protested for the animal’s protection. Bravo, second-graders!

Grade II displayed their understanding of different eco-systems through constructing independent dioramas which they presented as a group in the class. This multi-modal summative task displayed their understanding of the requirements of different animals in various habitats.

Sayeda Yusra Ahmed, a TLT student in pre-kindergarten participated in the flower arrangement competition at the Annual Flower Show held at Sea View, and won second place. Congratulations!
